About

Kyrie Beiler, began her musical journey in Harrisonburg, VA, where her love for playing violin was born. After 14 years of playing, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in violin performance. She began teaching private lessons in 2024, and loves to work with students whether they are six or over sixty. She teaches a wide range of repertoire, and though her main style is classical, she loves to broaden her students’ experience by introducing pop, folk, and other alternative styles to their repertoire. She loves to incorporate technique, history, and theory as tools to equip students to approach any work with confidence. Kyrie is passionate about making music fun and accessible for everyone in a way that suits their learning style and pace.

Kyrie has been involved with coaching at chamber music workshops for middle and high schoolers, has taught group lessons, and has been on staff at Red Wing Academy music camp as well as a faculty member for GreenSpring's Summer Institutes.

She has been an active violin performer throughout her life, particularly in her university experience. Kyrie performed with honors receiving chamber ensembles, in numerous musical theatre productions in the pit, and served as concertmaster and principal roles in her university symphony orchestra.

Kyrie holds a Bachelor of Music Performance at Shenandoah University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and studied under Dr. Akemi Takayama. She enjoys hanging out with her cat and going on adventures in her free time!
