Chris Marshall, Grammy-considered composer and percussionist; Alexander Kordzaia, critically acclaimed orchestral conductor and concert pianist; and Rachel Zhao, New York-based violinist. Lynnelle Ediger, the Founder of GreenSpring, is central to the Festival's vision. The Festival Academy aims to engage college-level musicians and music aficionados from across the nation and beyond.

In 2018, it rebranded to the GreenSpring Foundation named after Ediger’s family farm in Frederick County, continuing its mission to provide high-quality music education and performances with a focus on community outreach and social justice.
