2026 Summer Music Institutes
GreenSpring Summer Music Institutes attract students from around the world for intensive music study. Focus areas including harp, choir, guitar, piano, strings (violin, viola, cello, bass) and chamber music. Programs are available in Richmond, Virginia and Frederick, Maryland!
Summer is the perfect time to be inspired by world-class faculty, hone practice and performance skills, and have a great time making music with new friends and fellow musicians! Multiple programs are available for students at all levels ages 8-18, from beginners to the most advanced. Options include half-day and full-day day camps, as well as overnight boarding options. For working parents, before and after childcare is available for younger students.
In its 30 year history, GreenSpring Summer Music Institutes have served more than a thousand talented young musicians from across the United States and around the globe.

Multiple Week Sessions
Each session is unique and when combined with the other sessions forms a cumulative, learning-rich experience. Registrants may sign up for one session, or sign up for multiple sessions for maximum benefit!
