Accessibility Statement
At Greenspring Foundation and GreenSpring International Academy of Music, we are committed to ensuring our events and performances are accessible to all members of our community. We strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of physical or sensory ability, can experience and enjoy our programming.
Our Accessibility Policy
We are dedicated to making our events accessible in alignment with the goals of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). While we are compliant at our headquarters, we also use a variety of locations for concerts, outreach, and events—including historic structures and venues where we are guest artists. Not every facility can meet all current ADA standards.
We are committed to transparency regarding these limitations. When full accessibility isn't possible, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your needs or provide alternatives, such as designated companion seating, reserved spaces, or other accommodations, when feasible.
How to Request Accommodations
We want to ensure you have the best possible experience at our performances and events. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us at info@greenspringmusic.org.
General Requests: Please contact us at least one week before the scheduled event date.
Specific Accommodations: Some arrangements, such as specialized mobility equipment or assistive devices, may require two to three weeks’ notice.
We will handle requests received after these deadlines as promptly as possible, though we may be limited in what we can arrange on short notice.
Examples of Accommodations
We are pleased to discuss how we can best support your attendance. Examples of accommodations we can strive to assist with include:
Reserved, accessible seating and designated companion seating.
Information regarding accessible parking, entrance routes, and elevator availability.
Assistance with large-print programs.
Questions About a Venue
If you have questions regarding the accessibility features of a particular venue—such as threshold heights, restroom accessibility, or walking distances—prior to booking or attending an event, please contact us. We are happy to provide detailed information to help you assess whether a venue will meet your needs.
Privacy and Use of Information
Any personal or medical information you share with us for the purpose of arranging accommodations is voluntary. This information will be treated with confidentiality and will be used solely for the purpose of providing the requested accessibility support.
