Owen Ligon is a versatile guitar instructor from Richmond Virginia, specializing in both classical and jazz styles. He holds a BA in Music performance from Randolph-Macon College. 

Owen began his studies at the Greater Richmond School of Music with Danah Dargon, developing his foundational knowledge of music. During his academic years, he studied under the wing of accomplished guitarist Thomas Wakefield, solidifying his technique and learning the finer details of the instrument. A particular highlight of his time at RMC was performing with the Jazz Improvisational Laboratory, swinging his way into the world of jazz; fostering a more diverse musical pallet.

Owen’s skill-set includes a strong foundation in music theory, great familiarity with classical guitar techniques, and a deep love for music to share with others.
