A Virginia native, Bethany Verrett has been teaching piano for over a decade for students of all skill levels and genres of interest. She has been playing for over 20 years, and began taking piano lessons with Alexander Kordzaia in 2006. She became the first student from Hanover County to participate in the music program at the Virginia Residential Governor's School for Arts and Humanities as one of ten pianists chosen to participate from across the state in 2009. She performs consistently in churches, ensembles, and for private events. She currently accompanies the Greenspring Virginia Choristers and plays weekly at Truth Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, VA.

She is excited to be teaching here at GreenSpring, and can’t wait to help others grow and explore in music!
