Pianist Renee Gilormini has over ten years of experience as a conservatory teacher, preceded by nearly a decade of teaching piano both privately as well as academically. In addition to teaching, she maintains an active schedule as a pianist. Her professional musical career spans over twenty years and includes everything from solo piano performance to chamber music and ensemble work, collaborating with and accompanying instrumentalists, singers and choirs, musical direction for numerous theater productions, and recording professionally.
Ms. Gilormini received her undergraduate degree in piano performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and pursued her graduate studies at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey and Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles, earning her Masters in Music Education. She enjoys performing chamber music, and twice participated in the International Course of Chamber Music in Morges, Switzerland. She has held teaching positions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Hill House Music Academy in Boston, Massachusetts. She has also served as staff accompanist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, La Pietra School for Girls in Waikiki, Chaminade University in Honolulu, and Occidental College in Los Angeles. Her most recent positions include staff accompanist at Pasadena Waldorf School, Westridge School for Girls, accompanist for the Pasadena Master Chorale, and piano faculty member at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music.
